2024: Badminton in Paris

Badminton at the 2024 Summer Olympics will take place at the Porte de La Chapelle Arena in Paris, France, from July 27 to August 5, 2024.

Men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles are the five medal events in the competition.

There will be 172 competitors overall, with each National Olympic Committee (NOC) allowing a maximum of two players or couples to compete in each event.

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings as of April 28, 2024, serve as the basis for qualification. Players accumulate points by competing in a variety of international competitions.

If France is the host country and no players qualify through qualifying, at least one spot will be guaranteed for France in every event.
